Get started
- Download the installer and verify its SHA-256 before opening it.
- Open the downloaded DMG, drag PATerminal to Applications, then launch it from Applications.
- Install and sign in to the CLI agents you want to use separately. Git is needed for Git and worktree operations.
- Open your project directory in PATerminal. Start your installed CLI agent, then open another session for a separate task.
Opening PATerminal for the first time
On first launch, macOS may ask you to confirm opening an app downloaded from the internet. Choose Open.
Verify your download
Use the command below to calculate the downloaded file's SHA-256. If your browser renamed the file, replace the filename in the command with its saved name.
Open Terminal in the folder containing the downloaded installer, then run:
